STUDIES ON MINDFULNESS-BASED INTERVENTIONS FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS Mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) targeting children and teenagers have received considerable attention as effective methods for enhancing mental health and overall well-being. Our program focuses on developing present-moment awareness with a nonjudgmental attitude. This approach helps young people gain skills in emotional regulation, attention, and stress management. Research highlights the transformative power of MBIs to enhance resilience, boost academic performance, and cultivate vital social-emotional skills by deepening our understanding of feelings and thoughts. By tailoring mindfulness practices like guided meditations, breathing exercises, and mindful play for various age groups, we make these enriching tools engaging and accessible to young minds. Empowering them one mindful breath at a time. 1-Making Friends with Yourself: A Mixed Methods Pilot Study of a Mindful Self-Compassion Program for Adolescents. 2-Mindfulness and Self-Compassion: Exploring Pathways to Adolescent Emotional Well-Being. 3-State of the Research: Physical and Mental Health Benefits of Mindfulness-Based Interventions for Children and Adolescents.
