Meet Daiana

Daiana G. Amyradakis MS, MFT, CPLC

Daiana Amyradakis, founder of Lil’ Me Mindfulness for Kids LLC, is a Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Life Coach. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University, where she also earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has several years of experience providing therapy to families and individuals, as well as teaching as a faculty member at a university. With her specialized education and diverse experience, Daiana brings a unique perspective and a comprehensive understanding of the complexities inherent in children’s family dynamics and individual challenges.

Daiana has experience working with children in different settings and utilizing various modalities, including individual, family, group, and play therapy. Moreover, Daiana has taught multiple workshops and classes for teens in the community covering various critical mental health topics such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relaxation techniques, and communication skills.

 

Daiana’s enriching experience in academia, coupled with her commitment to community education, has ignited a profound interest in the educational dimensions of her profession.  As a passionate advocate for the mental health of children and teens, she firmly believes in the importance of imparting practical tools and coping strategies from a young age.  By equipping young individuals with essential coping skills, she aims to foster lifelong habits that enhance mental, emotional, and physical well-being. This commitment to early mental health education inspired her to establish Lil’ Me Mindfulness for Kids LLC—a dream she has had since she started working in the mental health field and saw a need for it.
